Our contribution to environmental protection

Oikia Fardy which is located on the center of the island of Samothrace, where nature has a strong presence and many gorgeous and majestic faces, so we could not to be sensitive to environmental issues. Because of that, all our activities are well integrated in the environmental protection.

More specifically:

We have chosen heat pump to heat the house, avoiding to use oil burner, while we have maintained the fireplace of the house, which can heat the room in which it is located.

Furthermore, we have chosen low-power and energy-saving lamps for illumination of premises (rooms, indoor public areas, landscaping, etc.) and our electrical appliances are energy-efficient, certified with low energy consumption (energy class A).

Moreover, all our mattresses and linens are made of ecological materials, with the pristine quality of Cocomat.
